Branching out (get it!) from my series of circle-inspired paintings, came this piece.  It's less jolly than the others as it represents the horrific decimation of forests around the world.  Each circular shape denotes a sawn-through tree trunk, which has a 'ghost' tree arm indicating what once stood there - and equally reaching out in the hope of regrowth.

Despite the sombre meaning behind this piece, it is also attractive and thought-provoking and would look amazing framed and hung.

I hope you love this piece as much as I do - hug a tree, they sure need our love and support xxx

Watercolour and paint pens on 200gsm acid free mixed media paper.  I have left a white border around the edge of the painting, which is approx 1.8cm deep.  Paper size is approx  16.54 inches x 11.69 inches or 42.0cm x 29.7cm.
