Beautiful green ferns, vibrant yellow kowhai flowers and clear blue skies are among the very many things I remember and love from my time living in New Zealand, the land of the Kiwi.  This painting evokes memories of that special place, including within it my favourite shape, the koru, which represents the unfurling fern frond in all its glory.  There are waves of shimmering gold paint, that catch the light, through this painting.
 
Painted in acrylics and paint pens on a 3mm Clairefontaine canvas board, varnished.  Size is approx 30x40cm.  Ready to frame.
